Establishing your correct Bra Size
A well fitted bra really does make all the difference to how your outfit drapes your body. When purchasing a new bra you should aim to combine the right size with the right style.
Below we provide our (A), (B) & (C) steps to help you achieve your best fit.
(A) Obtaining your Band SizeWearing your most comfortable bra and using a flexible tape measure, measure underneath your bust and right around your rib cage. (B) Obtaining your Bust SizeStill wearing your most comfortable bra and using a flexible tape measure, gently measure around the fullest part of your bust; say your bust measurement is 36in. (C) Obtaining your Cup SizeYour cup size is the difference between your Band Size i.e. 38in and your Bust Size i.e. 36in. The difference therefore between 38in (your Band Size) and 36in (your Bust Size) is 2in.
Therefore, by combining your Bra Band Size (A) and your Bust Size (B) and identifying the difference (C) you get your Bra Size 38B. |

You'll know when your bra fits correctly when your breasts are fully and comfortably enclosed within the cups, the fabric is smooth with no puckering or bulging and the centre of your bra lies flat against your chest. Your bra band should be level from the front to the back without riding up your back and your bra straps should sit lightly on your shoulders without leaving any marks.

Which Corset Size?
Wearing a Corset corrects your posture and gives you an hourglass figure and is worn in a size smaller than your natural waist size. Generally speaking corset sizes go up in 2 inch/5cm increments for example 20 inches/51cms, 22 inches/56cms etc.
|
Your Measurements? How to put your Corset onYour corset will generally be delivered laced up at the back with two long loops at the waist and the metal front busk fastened.Undo the metal clasps at the front, loosen the lacing at the back and ease the two halves of the corset apart until it's wide enough for you to step into and pull up to fit your waist. Ensuring the label is at the top and the lacing at the back, fasten the top metal clasp and the rest should follow. At the back, pull the loops of the lacing gently, then tighten progressively from both top and bottom towards the middle until you are happy with the fit. Tie the ends in a bow at the back to complete. Please note that over tightening your Corset may damage it. With time, you will be able to lace your Corset more tightly as it will gradually mould itself to your body shape. |
